The calculator controls a fuel dispenser with one fuelling point, one nozzle per fuelling point. ADP1/L calculator technical parameters equal world standard.
ADP1/L type electronic calculator is an electronic
control system for fuel distribution at the modern fuel sites.
Intended for simple fuel dispensers, it is designed to decrease price
in comparison with ADP1/T calculator.
ADP1/L can operate in
either the standalone (manual) or the communication mode. The
calculator uses communication protocol EASYCALL that is also
implemented in the widely used site controllers and POSes - for
instance DOMS, PetroVend and others.
Reduced price in comparison with ADP1/T achieved via
reduced construction (both electrical and mechanical) resulted in
missing independent calculator supply unit. Besides, the calculator
requires additional external modules for some functions.
Without
integrated vapour recovery control, the calculator is equipped with
pulse output intended for connecting an external recovery
module.
Fuel distribution valve calculator controls through an PWM
output. To control the closing/throttle valve it needs adding the
optional PWM/L module that we also deliver (typically for LPG
dispensers with ADP1/L calculators).
IFSF communication expects
the usage of an external IFSF module placed in a box attached to the
DIN rail in the dispenser head together with the calculator.
Setting the calculator parameters guarantees the
flexibility of the function. The parameters are compatible with the
other Beta Control calculators. The calculator parameters, unit
prices, electronic calibration values and the ATC can be set using
the wireless keyboards over the infra-red transmission.
The
calculator is on the same electronic board as the (primary) display
while the electronic board size equals the size of ADP/T calculator
display electronic board. Another (secondary) display may be
connected to the calculator for a double-sided single fuelling point
dispenser.
The displays show the process of transactions and other
data important for calculator operation (setting, auto diagnostics,
etc.) The displays of LCD type may be delivered in various versions
(positive, blue negative, or other).
The calculator is
equipped with non reset-able built-in electronic volume total
register of the meter and electronic registers of volume, price and
number of transactions totals per nozzle. Nozzle electronic registers
may be recorded via the communication line.
In addition, an
electromechanical non reset-able volume total register may be
installed for each meter.
Shaft encoders used to transmit
measured delivered volume from the meter to calculator electronics
may be chosen as three-channel or two-channel type.
ADP1/L calculator can connect up to two customer
pre-selection keyboards (one per each side in case of the
double-sided single fuelling point dispenser). Customers may use the
keyboard to pre-set the volume to be delivered or the total price of
the fuel to be delivered.
Calculator electronics is placed
together with the (primary) display on the electronic board that is
mounted on dispenser mask. Every input and output connects with screw
terminal connectors via cables. The used connectors are designed so
that the calculators may be easily replaced in case of defect because
all wires remain connected to the connectors even if these are
opened.
